Goals

Article 2 of Title I of the Statute of the Argentine Leather Industry Chemists and Technicians Association:

In order to accomplish these goals and considering it is a non-profitable public help organization, the association will: · Promote scientific research and technological development for the elaboration of leather in society, allowing the creation of groups of study.

Promote the qualification and training on the subjects of the sector. In order to achieve this, the association can organize congresses, conferences, colloquies, round tables, seminaries, courses, training groups, etc., as well as create scholarships.

Promote scientific and technological Literature, maintaining the magazine as an instrument to publish original or translated scientific works, bibliographical reviews, and all type of publications of interest for its associate.

Keep the specialized technical library working.

Establish relationships with official or non-official institutions with an interest in tannery, as well as make contact with the organizations which group them, national or foreign universities and technological institutes.

Promote the spirit of friendship, cooperation and solidarity between its associates.
